Today is the release of the first book, Committing to the Cowgirl. It’s a sweet but sizzling romance full of lots of favorite tropes including: pretend courtship, fake engagement, childhood sweethearts, meddling mother, co-workers in proximity, and bargain benefits both.
Committing to the Cowgirl involves a minor character from the previous series, Astrid Nilsson, who is returning to Fairplay, Colorado after years away at medical school. Now a doctor, she’s responding to an advertisement to join a medical practice as the second doctor. Little does she realize the physician already there is her childhood sweetheart, Logan Steele, who once broke her heart.
If you enjoy sweet, closed-bedroom romances that still contain a bit of sizzle, then you’ll probably like this series. While some of my others series are more serious and involve deeper Christian themes, this series is lighter on the inspirational message and heavier on the romance.
